I don't know, but that's about as low as a person can get. Surely they knew the dog had a family already. The only comfort I would get in such a situation would be that hopefully whoever the doggie is living with now is taking good care of him, surely.

Bloody dog napper or Some one that wanted a dog and couldn't afford one or a thief,
and was it stolen could it have walked off ,slipped the collar or lead and was picked up by the pound.

a) remember it
