how to connect xbox (original) to laptop?

i have an xbox (original) i want to connect to my laptop. i want to use the laptops wifi on the xbox. i saw that you can bridge the connections, and i did, but it didnt work. is that only for 360's?

ok, i tried enabling internet sharing, but first it made me delete the bridge, and when i went to recreate it, it said i couldnt have internet sharing enabled...????

Make sure that your laptop has internet sharing enabled.

You must have broadband connected to the laptop for it to work.
