One page at a time. You had best get started. You need to read 23 chapters tomorrow and 23 chapters on Sunday. Start by reading all the chapter and section headings tonight and see if you think some chapters are more important than others, and if so, read those first. Also tonight see if you can read all the chapter summaries, if there are summaries, and that will give you a head start in understanding the material. Don't spend any more time on here ... get started. Best of luck with it. You can do this.

When you say you need to read the book do you mean you have to read every word? Or can you do a quick scan of every chapter, going back to fill in bits you didn't get in the first scan? Try reading the last 3 chapters, if it is a fiction book. You'll probably pick up enough of the story to get the idea, and then scanning quickly will make more sense.
This is not the right way to do it, but you have no thme left for the right way. If it is not a fiction book, see if there are chapter summaries, main headings and so on that will help you get the main idea..

In the light of your edit, maybe you need to give some thought to repeating, if you are so far behind. You may learn what you need to learn -- in thelong term it might be worth it. Good luck.

You are going to shut off the computer, pick up the book and begin reading - one page at a time. Keep a notebook beside you if you wish, and jot notes down - things you want to remember for the test. Yes, you can do it. You have lots of time, just get to it and don't start procrastinating.

I can see that you're not a good reader. You might want to work on your English while you're still young. You shouldn't be going to parties if your grammar is that bad. Just read it. It's easier if you let yourself get into the book instead of rolling your eyes at it and being annoyed that you have to read. However, judging on your poor language skills, you probably don't let yourself enjoy *anything* academic.

Watching tv is simpler but I enjoy reading literature more

while reading a written publication, you're stimulating the human brain. You make your reading and literacy skills and you simply along the way, are more literate. Even with today's modern technology, you need to be able to read still.
While watching t.v. can be good fun, it is not doing anything to your brain.

Try Google Books. But someparts may be cut out because its technically a "trial".

just sit down and read it. you have all weekend. 2 days to read 46 chapters is doable, but you should have started days ago, if not weeks ago.

Better get started instead of griping about it. Check in SparkNotes.com. It might be there and they have summaries of some books.

Just sit down and do it. If you have plans for this weekend that can be cancelled (hanging out with friends, etc.), cancel them and do your homework. Don't worry about what everyone else thinks, just get to it - you can do it, I promise.
