Oh my, totally ... I can't stand it.

espcly wn ppl tlk lk ths - i cnt stnd it. its so hrd 2 evn ndrstnd wt they R SAYING ... it CAN'T be any easier, it takes twice as long to type and 3 times as long to read!
I don't understand why people do that.

No, people can talk whatever way they want, I don't care. In normal conversation it doesn't matter, but if I was reading it in a book, then I'd be annoyed. As for txt tlk, its not like you're texting your English teacher, as long as whoever you're texting understands, it shouldn't b a prblm. Its jst a smplfed vrsion of Engsh.

You should read the book "Eats Shoots and Leaves." It's all about grammar and comminucation. It was ok. I've gotten to the point that as long as I know what the person means I don't get too upset and I am even getting a bit lazy myself with people I know well.

It's definitely in my top 5. I think it's because when I was in school, my English teachers beat into our heads the concept that "if someone else if going to see what you've written, it should be the best it can be".

when someones talking to me it is, but on the computer i dont really care. the txt tlking thing does bug me when people do type that on the computer. = ]

misspelling to the max is my pet peeve, next to bad usage.

The only thing that bothers me is when people say things like:

"so wht u wanna do tnight? dnt ? mehhh. teh store isnt opn."

Honestly, nothing about that is cool, funny, or intelligent. It's annoying and ridiculous.
