My husband has a new job, in another state, and the company will reimburse SOME of our relocation costs...but, not all. Our credit stinks, which we just found out how bad, and we will work to make the necessary corrections in our credit report...But we need the money now! We need at least $8,000. Who will loan someone with bad credit that much money?

An outside chance is prosper.com, but with that story and credit, it's a long shot. I know I wouldn't.

$8K? Where the heck are you moving to? Or from?
Have your husband talk to the company. They may either pick up the costs or temporarily loan you him the money.
