What is a source with that number? I think you need to add detail so someone who is not in your class can contribute a correct answer.

If you want people to do your homework for you, it would be a good idea to give them the information you have, and haven't even thought about, it seems. We don't know what 'source 4.2.2 ' is, whereas you would have your text in front of you.

When was the battle of Zama? roughly in October in 202 BC.

When did Livy write his description? Well, he flourished from 59 B.C. to 17 AD, so 150 years or so after the battle he wrote his history: you may know more from your text.

Not so hard? How did I find this out? A couple of Internet searches, not bad given that I have not studied this for 30 years.

Zama was near the end of the 2nd Punic war in 202BC. Livy started his history in 59BC and worked on it until his death in 17AD. I'll let you do the math.
