Sweetie, it's hard to believe, but EVERYONE got made fun of in school for something. Big ears, gap in the teeth, thick hair, acne. Heck, I got teased constantly for having large breasts. Imagine being called "twin peaks" all thru school! No one is immune.
The sad thing is, there isn't much that can be done. Kids in school have a mob mentality. It's easier to go along with the pack then it is to stop and think for yourself. Unfortunately, that means once a few people start picking on someone, most of the crowd will join in.
Just keep your chin up and realize that these kids are just trying to feel better about themselves. By pointing out the flaws of others, they have less time to focus on their own.
I promise it will get better as you get older. In the meantime, is there anything you can do to fit in more? Try joining a club, trying out for a sports team, etc. Finding a group of kids that you relate to will help you form a great support system, and you may even find some lifelong friends.

Don't worry about what others think of you. Once done with High School you will probably have little to do with any of these people, and may never see them again
Concentrate on subjects that may lead you to an interesting career, then you will meet interesting people. Look for other loners who are nice people for now. What you are experienceing now won't matter at all in the future.

I'm sorry you are having a rough time. People can be mean, especially in junior high and high school (adults are no prize either, but it does get better). Carry yourself proudly and with dignity, not matter what. Recognize that school is not your whole life and people who do not know you cannot define you. Get involved in outside interests and hobbies, you will find other people (maybe at school maybe outside your school) to be friends with and share things in common. This won't last forever, it gets better in college.

Try to remember that you could be one of the people making fun of others....there but for the grace of God...
and choose not to be like them. You know how much it hurts. When you take this attitude, you will find yourself attracted to and others like you....hang in there, sweetie..this too shall pass.

first thing you have to do is realize it is not your fault it is their problem. once you stop giving them power over you and learn not to care what others think of you you will have a much better life. kids are cruel and will always go for the easiest target once you stop letting it bother you, you will have a much better life. Forget them who cares if they like you. the only person who has to like you is you. Good luck to you. I hope one or all of these answers help you.

Convince yourself that you are better than them. Those who make fun of others are pretty low and are on a petty level. If you can keep your head raise, and see through them, you'll recognize their insignificance. Don't let it get to you.

Believe me - you'll find others who see the potential in you, if you haven't already.

Words only have the power you allow them to have. Letters put together with intended meaning have no effect. The effect comes from what you "think" about what they are saying!
