You really need more details, because this could fit not only Outlander by Diana Gabaldon but also hundreds (if not thousands) more. For instance, there's Forever His by Shelly Thacker and Time-Kissed Destiny by Constance O'Day-Flannery (she has an entire series of books like that), Wings of the Storm by Susan Sizemore (and many more of hers), Step in Time by Anne Barbour, Once Upon a Pirate by Nancy Block, Till the End of Time by Suzanne Elizabeth and Time's Tapestry by Joan Overfield (to mention just a few).

Since she goes into the past, it's time travel. It doesn't have to be strictly romance even though she falls in love, though. Would you recognize the title? Here's a list of some young adult time travel novels http://library.loganutah.org/books/YA/TimeTravel.cfm - maybe you'll recognize a title from among them?

If it's not there, check http://www.whatsthatbook.com/ or http://www.rollyo.com/lizbennett/the_book_sleuth/ or http://www.auntbook.com/ and you may get some answers.

Yes, Outlander would fit that description. Did she fall in love with a sexy Scotsman in a kilt?!
