Cliques are overrated. Just be your own person and don't be afraid to have friends who themselves might more or less fit into one of the stereotypical cliques we hear so much about. In high school I had friends from multiple groups, and frankly I never really fit neatly into just one group. Although back then it felt frustrating at times as it often does at that age, I came to realize that it made me a much more well-rounded person who can get along with most people who at least give me the time of day. I had friends (and still do) who might've been regarded by others as nerds, jocks, preps, drinkers/stoners, "popular" people, and pretty much anyone. But bottom line, just do your own thing and screw what other people say. If people don't respect you for who you are, then they're not worth your time and effort anyway. And trust me, you'll definitely find people who you hit it off with and feel comfortable around.

No, I don't really miss them as that was another part of my life and things are different now. I don't have contact with any of them at all since about three years after we graduated. Three of my best friends from high school are married with kids now, one is still in University, one seemed to vanish off the face of the planet and one is working overseas. The rest I've lost touch with and haven't heard from since grad, they're not listed on Facebook either. I have a feeling that even if we got everybody together for a reunion we wouldn't have much to talk about. Seems like everybody met their significant other and just went their own way after grad.

I don't miss people from high school. I seemed to have grown away from them. If you are missing people from high school why don't you try and look them up. A good google search, a class reunion site, or a public records site may help you find your long lost friends.
Good Luck!!!

Of the 7 friends that shared my inner circle of friends, I still keep in touch with 5 of them. The other one married way above our social status and does not speak to us anymore. I am still friends with my best friend from 1st grade.

Not at all... you find out who your real friends are after high school. The ones who stay in touch long after.

Nope. I've put a few Divas from high school in their place. Then they had big fronts and now try to put up big fronts but their former fronts are now like beach property that has sagged a bit into the sea.
Had one b****** write me about the reunion and inform me that I WAS REQUIRED TO INFORM HER IF I WAS COMING to it. Well, I think I told her where she could stick it. Like, the prom's over, she's now a ton and get over it.
