I get time when they are at school but I'm normally working, I don't consider work time to myself

I have a 12 year old stepson, a 7 year old daughter and a 33 year old husband...hubby is sometimes as bad as the kids

I hear ya.
I don't have children but when my sister was a baby I raised her alone, round the clock and the only time to myself was time that I spent tidying the mess she made or babyproofing the things that she'd managed to somehow unbabyproof while she was awake. She didn't sleep much as she has ADHD, and FAS so she was a two handfuls. She's 13 now and giving me grey hair.
Hang in there momma. It'll get easier someday. I don't know when that day will be, but it has to get easier.

Enjoy them If you have Kids,
Ive Had Said That Myself ( years Ago ) & wanted Time to Myself, Now I have 2 much time, I miss Being around kids, there only kids once,

Just wait until their teens...everything is a crisis!!
I do have to say though....when they get to the age where they can be alone in the house..or when they are in school...you can then sneak away for an hour here or there....for yourself..

The only time I get to myself is Thursday evening.
I go roller skating alone when my youngest daughter is at her Girl Scout meeting. If there is no meeting then she comes along.
Thank God nobody else at home likes skating.
