Perfect would have to be defined as the best that could be expected since those who are in a position to judge are also in a better position to disagree, and therefore we are seeking some one who would in some ways be the lesser of two evils or the best of a necessarily bad lot, and if good sense enters into the matter at all, a Bill & Hillary combination with Obama as vice-president might be labeled "perfect" as long as Obama's wife stays away or at least remains silent.

The perfect President of the US would be very very proactive on terrorism, would believe in a woman's right to chose (in the first 3 months of pregnancy only) and get way way way more strict with crime in this country by constituting a 2 strikes (for anything) and you're locked up for life and if you intentionally harm someone you are taken to the electric chair immediately following your guilty verdict.

Presidents are humans, who are NOT perfect. Therefore, there's no such thing. The best we can do (these days especially), is choose the least threataning clown. As pessemistic and jaded as it sounds, I'm afraid it's the truth.
