of course you can...of course if you are basically a nobody, you won't find anything. but you'd be surprised how much debris is out there on just about anyone. I have accidentally dredged up psycho ex-girlfriends and apparently some of them have stalked me down the same way.

just enter your name in the search box. Whether or not anything shows up depends on whether your name has been posted anywhere, like a news site, website, etc. When I google myself I come up with pages of stuff, but then I'm a writer who has been published hundreds of times and I own or webmaster a number of websites.

Yes, but unless you have a fairly unique name, or are somewhat famous for some reason, you'll get 18,000 or so hits on people with similar names.
That's the case with me. There is a prominent photographer and college athlete that share my name. I have to enter some really specific info about me along with my name to get a hit on me.

Go to google and type in your name. My name is J Howard Dowdell but everyone calls me "Hank". You won't find much under my given name but if you type in "Hank" Dowdell you will discover quite a bit about me. Just typing your name in won't give you any results unless your name is associated with something that has been published on the internet.

Haha yeah, Just type your name into google. That's all it means, all the site on the web ( if any) with your name will pop up, and any with people who have your name names on it. Its not all that interesting if your names not on any good sites ..ha

yes if you enter your name it will give a list of people with the same name as you, or yourself, if you are on the internet. It also works with user id's, my ebay one does and my yahoo one.

googling yourself is just typing your name in google search engine. Of course you can do that.
