Well first you can't drive a car to Hawaii, so that's an automatic no.

The Guinness Record for driving through each of the 48 contiguous states is over 5 1/2 days.

Besides the fact that it's not possible to drive that many miles in such a short time, you can't get to Hawaii by car.

It usually takes several (like 5) days to just get across the country, without stopping for any fun, and skipping most of the states. I think my mom & sister made it from CA to KY in 3 days, but they were driving as fast as safely possible, and barely stopped to use the restroom.

Impossible, even if you did it by commercial jet. By plane it takes approx. 4-5 hours to go from one East Coast state to one West Coast state, and that's non stop. Now imagine stopping by every single state on the way from East to West. Then think about doing it by car

And of course, there's Hawaii and Alaska. =D

That's just not possible. The distance between each state is just too great. I remember this couple from NY tried to go to California (or another state maybe in the west/south west) via taxi. Even that took them days.

u . s . has 50 states. The District of Columbia is a federal district, no longer a state. Many lists incorporate DC and Puerto Rico, which makes for fifty two "states and different jurisdictions". in all probability it relatively is the foundation of the parable.

If you limited it to the conterminous 48 states and you drive like I do -fast and relentlessly -it would still take you at least 2.5 -3 weeks to do .

No.
I went from Pennsylvania to Florida by bus, only stopping once at a rest stop to stretch our legs, and it took 26 hours.
