Hi, I have just bought roses and I needed the flowers (I have 14 Stems all together). I got a pack of nutrients with the roses, My question is if I put the flowerless stem in the water, Will the rose bud, there are still leaves on the stem. If not what should I have done so I could get the roses and still have the roses growing. I put the stems under light and in water with the nutrients.

You are talking about cut roses, right? If you have completely removed the roses from the stem and there isn't even a rose bud then no you won't get any more roses. If your stems still have some buds then they may open up, but your not going to get roses to grow on cut bare stems.

Just about all roses are grafted to a root stock. If you only have the stems you will never get another rose no matter what you do.
Sorry.

They come back year after year if you take care of them properly. Get a Guide to Growing Roses to find out the proper care.

I don't think anything will happen. Ask the Flower Person from whom you bought it from. And tell them what you told us.

Sorry- But I am no expert in Flowers!
