Yes a few years back and was put on a beta blocker for it which made me ill. I came off the medication under medical supervision and my blood pressure had actually returned to normal: thankfully :) I don't know what was the reason for the high blood pressure at the time but I think there may be others out there on medication unnecessarily too as in some cases it obviously resolves naturally..
Medical disclaimer: no one should stop blood pressure medication without a doctor's approval and medical supervision.

Yes and have 8 strkes because of it not being treated....nothing to mess around with....now I take some 16 pills a day to control it and the after effects !!!!! These meds cost somewhere between $800-$1000 per month

I've had it for over 25 years, and we're still trying to get it under control. Right now, I'm taking 8 different medications for it.

My BP is only high when I'm in pain. I don't suffer from it.
