boy, the neocon's came out in force for this one. They're happy to ignore the Patriot Act, warrentless wiretaps, warrentless searches etc

They're also happy to mention that terrorists blow up buildings and kill innocent people. You'll notice they forgot to mention the thousands of innocent iraqi citizens killed by US bombs. They also forgot to mention things like the Haditha massacre and abu ghraib.

Don't let the propaganda fool you. We've become terrorists on a national scale.

Their coalition! American conservatism and Islamofascism are in an unholy coalition against enlightenment. They are opposites in this conflict but not enemies. Their dynamic of fear and terror is meant to marginalize and break the spirit of critical and free thinkers on all sides.
They need each other for survival and their true enemies, free independent critical citizens are the same.

Terrorists:

-Blow up buses full of children
-Take over schools and shoot children after torturing them
-Smuggle drugs into our country
-Fly airplanes into buildings killing innocent civilians

President Bush:

-Protects us from the above terrorists

Name a single person that has had his rights violated by the Bush administration and I'll listen to you. Until then you have no point, and no basis in reality.

edit: So the fact that there hasn't been a single person in the US that has reported to the media that their rights have been violated means nothing? The FBI/CIA may not release that info, but if someone had their rights violated the left-wing press, like CNN, would be all over it. There have been no reports because there have been no violations.

This is a really biased question that would be a stupid question if it were not so obviously biased.

Terrorists hijacked airplanes and flew them through buildings killing almost 3,000 people. Terrorists blow up buses and trains. And shopping malls.

In the Civil War, Lincoln, generally considered our greatest president, suspended the Constitution for national security reasons.

To my knowledge no average citizens are being spied on and no average citizens have been arrested with no right to a lawyer. And, rightly or wrongly, searches of homes without warrants do happen occasionally, usually by local law enforcement agencies.

President Bush came to office hoping to improve education, reduce taxes, and bring civility to Washington. Eight months after his inauguration this nation was attacked.

Read your history. In times of national emergency sometimes we give up a few freedoms just so we can be a little more secure. Happened in the Civil War, World War I and World War II.

In most other countries in the world you have fewer individual rights than Americans had in the national emergencies.

Be thankful for what you have.

Sorry, can't hang this on on Bush. (and I am NO fan of Bush)
Civil liberties have been under attack for years. First it was the "Cold War" we had to be able to find and get, "those commies!"
Then the "war on drugs" which was really just a "war on civil liberties" and now the "war on terror."

Maybe soon the people in America will realize that not everything our government tells us to be afraid of is really anywhere near as frightening as our own government declaring another civil liberties ending "WAR"

I'm not a Bush fan, but I think he probably treats women better than Sheikh Abdul Rahman.

Bush has ties to the Skull and Bones, which has ties to the Illuminati.
So Bush is a puppet for the New World Order which would be a one-world government.
We can't have any liberties if they expect to reach their goal.

Good info, bty.
