You have to understand, I live in California. I have been told by the city, Los Angeles, that I must understand and be tolerant of the the diverse customs of the people around me. I can appreciate that. But I don't think Ole Ernie (that's my dog) should have to pay the ultimate price for ethnic diversity. Seems to me if they want to eat my best buddy, there should be a price to pay.

Lemme guess, your neighbor offered to wok your dog and you accepted the offer. Oral contracts are enforceable and he could sue you for specific performance if you took Ole Ernie back. On a brighter note, all dogs go to heaven.

your ethnic neighbor perhaps may not understand the difference between a hot dog on the grill and a frankfurter on the grill. He may also his misheard the word Ole for Oscar , as in Mayer .

He may also be relying on his old superstitious customs as ways that the more the dog is seared, torched and otherwise flame broiled, the more tender its meat will be.

Show him a package of Ball Parks and let him think that these dogs have already been processed and should satisfy his diverse palate
