If you have a lot of miles on your vehicle, 100,000 miles or so, the oil pump may be worn to the point of not pumping enough oil to keep the pressure up at idle. As soon as you accelerate the oil pressure will come up to keep the oil light off. Could be dirty oil as someone else said.

When at very low idle the oil pump is not working very hard and does not provide much oil pressure, in turn the light comes on. Is the Idle OK? or too low?
I doubt the leak would have anything to do with it. It could be the sensor but the fact it comes off at acceleration makes it unlikely.
When was the last time you changed to oil? When the oil is old it thins which lowers oil pressure.

the only ingredient i could upload to the different solutions is that it can be a nasty sending unit. If it extremely is not that, or a loose cord, or a low idle, then i could propose dropping the oil pan and checking for a clogged oil pump intake reveal. you do not point out what number miles are on the motor vehicle yet while it has a lot a wiped out engine will become a actual hazard. the actuality which you have a small oil leak isn't the concern.

I just had this exact problem not very long ago. kinda flickers too? I went too long without changing my Oil. Fresh oil did the trick. hasn't happened since. My problem was on a 93 mitsubishi. p\u, point is that I wasn't dealing with a sophisticated sensor or anything.
