The Spurs have way more talent than the Suns. All you have to say is Tim Duncan, Tony Parker Manu Ginobili, Bruce Bowen and the new pick up from training camp Darius Washington. The guy is something else. The Spurs will be there this year as long as everyone stays healthy. One other advantage they have is that the team as a whole is unselfish and realizes that basketball is a team sport.

Well, you have to give the edge to the defending champions. I am a Celtics fan and I would say the C's are better than every other team in the league (I know I am a homer) but you can not dethrone the champ without beating them in the playoffs. Therefore, unless the Spurs do wind up being terrible this season, I would say that they are the best team in the league (until the C's rob them of that title).
Who has the advantage matchup wise? Nash trumps parker, Marion Trumps Ginobli and Duncan Trumps Amare. Then the spurs have a lock down defender in Bowen that they can either stick on Nash or Marion.
I think the spurs are the better team matchup wise.

Spurs. But honestly i don't know why everyone his like. The spurs are the "automatic champs this year." I mean look at dallas. Maybe i'm a bit biased cause that's my home team. I know they took an awful fall last year. But i do think there just as good as the spurs
