buy a new tailgate or turn it into youre ins say someone backed into you at the mall

Usually when a door gets damaged, it's best to get a new door and have it sprayed up. The guy painting it will take out the glass, mirror, winder etc. When the new door is painted, he puts them back on. Don't know the cost but it's the best thing to do if the dents are serious.

You have several options. You could use a dent puller to physically pull the dent back out or you could fill the dent with bondo. Unless you have some sort of sheet metal experience you should probably take it to a body shop.

You can try pulling it but that won't fix the inside of the tail gate since it's double walled. It's best just to take it to a body shop or try and get a used tail gate for it at a junk lot.

Turn around and hit the tree from the front, the back end should pop right out.

Is it just the fiberglass which has been damaged or have you actually bent / dented the frame on the tail-gate??
If you've bent the frame - you have to try to re-shape the metal & TRY to get it back to straight. (Usually it's cheaper just to buy a new one).
If it's just the fiberglass - then bondo is going to become your best friend.... (you could try opening it up & pounding it out)

lower tail gate, look for an acess plate on the back side, remove it pound dent out from inside,

Yep, say it was a hit and run. How much do we pay for car insurance and never use?? Make it work for you this time. Call your insurance company and tell them what happen, because you might still need a police report.

There are usually access panels on the inside of the tailgate. Take off the cover and push it out.

you can get one from autozone if its a really big dent then take it to a body shop
