its very simple
there are 2 ways
1) connect them by an ethernet (lan) wire by putting one end in 1 pc's lan card and the other end in the other pc, altho the connectors should be arranged in cross sequence
2) same method but u use a lan switch and no need for the cross thing.

ethernet cable through a router if ur computers are hooked up that way should already be connected but im guessing not so you need a standard router

just buy a network card for both
if you just want to transfer data you can get a usb cable with two male conectors
