I think Krystena Channing is a lovely name. BTW, I think Channing is too feminine of a name to be for a boy :)
I'm not in love with your spelling of Krystena though. I love the classic spelling of Christina, but I love Kristina even more, and I think Kristina Channing looks prettier too!
I think Krystena Channing is a great name (not crazy about the spelling) and good luck when running it by your husband! I love it, and hope he will too!

Krystena is a very weird spelling, and your little girl will have to live with telling people how to spell it, or asking people to change her name on mail once they address it wrong, for the entirety of her life. :( not the best idea. Channing is a nice middle name though!

If she is named after your sister, why not spell it the usual way? It might be hard for a child to learn how to spell it your way. Channing is okay, but it sounds like a surname. Is it a family name?

I like the name Christina. It's kind of common. But I wouldn't butcher the spelling, especially because you're naming her after your sister. keep the spelling.

The name is nice, but what is with this trend of misspelling names? Is it to seem original? Unique? Seems to me that all it would do is give an easy teasing target, or confuse a young child that is trying to learn spelling rules.
Remember, children are being taught to be more and more cruel. Do you really want to give them MORE of a reason to do what they naturally do?

I like it, but why change the spelling? She will have to spend her whole life correcting the spelling of her name for people, not to mention pronouncing it.
