Louise Wener and Sleeper were forgettable stuff for many.

Louise Wener was the singer. She now writes chick lit. They had a few decent songs and certainly make me nostalgic for my youth, but I would hardly call them underrated.

I used to drink with the drummer's brother, he was a proper mess on the vodka. The singer was called Louise something. I thought they were average at best.

I quite liked 'the it girl' for about half an hour.
Forgettable band.
