I ate lunch at a Chinese restaurant today, but my fortune cookie was empty. What does this mean?

I had worse. I opened up my fortune cookie and it had the check in it for the next table. Party of 8!

i can remember a time whilst the fortune cookies from time to time had rather downcast messages. i think that with something of political correctness, each and all of the fortunes had to be shiny and advantageous going forward. however the single you gained in the present day, damn, what the hell is that? that doesn't enable you be responsive to something. i'm already doing my area for the protest. i finished ordering chinese language!

That's bad news. That happened to my Dad once and he died 8 years later. The only way you can reverse the curse of the empty cookie is to pee on a buddah.
