Good for you! I would suggest you switch to Ron Paul.. Romney is well known as a "flip flopper".. and he doesn't represent the views of the traditional republican party. The party had always been the less government/anti-war party.. but due to the neo-conservative movement, it seems that it has lost it's way.. Luckily Paul is running to restore the party and this country back to the way the founding fathers had intended.. Paul is one of the few presidential candidates providing any real clarity on our foreign policy and domestic issues.. Unlike other candidates whose stances seem to change from week to week, Paul's record is actually consistent. He is a strong advocate of a non-interventionist foreign policy where we trade and negotiate with countries,.. instead of fighting wars under false pretenses where we put our economy in financial risk and the lives of our troops in jeopardy.. To find out more about his positions on other issues, please see the list I posted below. In addition to Paul's strong anti-war/less government stance, he accepts no money from lobbyists, corporations and interest groups.. He is man of integrity.. which is rarity in Washington.. Paul offers real solutions, instead of just typical political rhetoric.. He truly has the best interest at heart for the average American, not just the elite..

A brief overview of his record:
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He is a strong advocate of free trade.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He opposes invading Iran.
He opposes amnesty for illegals.
He will drastically reduce the debt the United States is in, by reducing government spending.. taking the burden off taxpayers.
He voted against the Iraq war.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

Ron Paul has consistantly voted against every pork spending bill since coming into congress. He was my representative when I lived in Texas and has almost never had any one running against him as he is so respected. He refuses the largess they try to get him to take to run his office in luxury, and even gives back part of his salary. He is so honest they won't give him committee chairmanships, although he is quite senior. He won't let them get away with anything!

You won't find anyone better, or better qualified. If they were all like Ron Paul this would be a much better country and we would be out of debt and not in war. And we would be respected right now, and not have the whole world angry with us.

From his website, " (he) works for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies. He is known among his congressional colleagues and his constituents for his consistent voting record. Dr. Paul never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution."

All you have to do is objectively examine their stances on issues to see that Romney is merely another cookie-cutter R and Ron Paul is the only candidate that actually thinks about reality and the issues instead of just towing the party line. Dr Paul is the man.

Ron Paul is the only Republican running who is actually conservative. Other candidates SAY they are for less government, but their records reveal otherwise.

Ron Paul more closely represents the original platform of the GOP.

Romney couldn't get elected as governor of Massachusettes (much less any other state, with the exception of Utah) with the political platform he is running on now.

The choice is pretty simple - flip-flopping, fatcat funded, big government supporting Romney vs someone who actually believes in the constitution.

That's a big change, they have almost the complete opposite opinion on the war. So I think that would probably be the biggest issue.

To me he is the only voice of change, although once elected is different thing. Transforming ideas into reality in politics is really hard that's why we always get more of the same.

He is the only one who would restore the Constitution.
