-warning stupid questions-
1. If the reasearch embryo keeps growing up does it turn into a kid?
2. Whats so un- human lifeish about being fertilized in a lab?
3. There was something about, like, skin off a mouse's back that can be made into a mouse embryo... so could the embryo grow up?
4. So... They're reasearching to turn human embryos into, like, livers?

1. It could if it was implanted in a womb and allowed to grow to full term.

2. They used to say that test tube babies were unnatural, even that they wouldn't have a soul! Now there are thousands of test tube babies and there is no way to tell unless you ask if they are.

3. If the mouse embryo is normal, yes.

4. No - the research is to do all kinds of things, and not just "turn embryos into livers". What I think you are referring to is called "cell differentiation", and is the study of how to turn embryonic stem cells into something specific - like liver tissue, or heart muscle tissue, etc. Human organs are being grown now completely separate from this - its a related field, but its not the same thing.
