If you saw a fleece blanket with a cute pattern would you consider buying it for your cat or dog, to either put inside their crate or kennel at home or to travel?

Yup! Koty had two of them. One I had cremated with him and the other one I still have in my trunk with my other blankets. They're great in the winter.

yes of course, especially if they are crate trained or travelling, it makes them feel more comfortable and at ease, because it is their "security" blankie and has their scent on it, plus crates are generally uncomfortable for them. It doen't have the be fleece but something comfortable, my dogs have almost as much clothes as I do lol, so definately they have several fleece blankets with the paw patterns and all, plus the pillow too.

Some times hand made toys are more fun and cheaper. One fun thing to do is to take a little reuse able container or small yogurt container (cleaned out) and make a little hole in the lid, put cat food inside and as Chester Nester plays with it, food comes out. Crinkled aluminium foil balls are a big hit. Cat nip is great, buy some and put it in places, with toys ect. I also suggest spraying honey suckle on old toys, to make them exciting again. If you have a sewing machine, take some fabric and cut it into a little toy shape and then sew part of it leaving an opening for cat nip, then hand sew it and you have a great little toy. In my experience, the best bought toys are toy mice and little spiny contrapitions with toy mice.

My cat and dog both have fleece blankets. We cover them both up at night when it's cold and they stay under them all night. My dog also wears a little kid sweatshirt when it's really cold, she hates not being warm.

i never bought one for a pet, but once i went on vacation and when i came back my fleece blanket had become the puppy's blanket so that he didnt get cold at night..

Sure I would, and have done - picked a nice fleecy thing for my cat once, expensive it was too - she hissed at it. So I just continued letting her choose which of my clothes she wanted to make a bed out of!

Animals need bedding, why not pick something pretty for them - won't make any difference to them but it's nice for us!

Sure, they're super warm and soft. Plus they aren't expensive so if they mess it up, it won't cost you an arm and a leg.
