If you say it about yourself it is OK. Like when I do something stupid, or lose something, I say, I need a keeper. You know, someone to look after me. Now if someone else says this about you, them there is fighting words!!!

When I say something is a keeper like a person is a keeper that means the person is a great catch so dont let them go! Kinda like " Oh I think Ill keep her" get it- keeper? Its a compliment and always a good thing

I think this could be used in either way, but my first thought is always to the good - "he's a keeper!" The bad I suppose would be "do I always have to be his keeper?" - something along those lines.

It's a good way like if you caught a large fish it would be a keeper. The same with a B/f or g/f

A keeper is someone that you like, as a friend or more. Someone that you don't want to let go of.

A keeper is someone worth keeping around for any number of reasons. Expenses, sex, ect. Or just someone who may be of use. May also mean worth keeping because of genuine value.

"a keeper" is slang for one that you don't want to let go. If you're a keeper it's a good thing.

A "keeper" is someone with good qualities who is a good match for you. Someone kind, respectful, good-natured. Someone who has dignity. Someone you enjoy being around for the right reasons.
