Closest to where I live would probably be The Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. I live near Chicago, so there's also the Sears Tower, The Field Museum, Museum of Science & Industry, Wrigley Field, Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium, The Chicago Art Museum, Navy Pier, Second City, Millenium Park, etc.

Well I worked for Disneyland Resort for nearly 10 years, and that's probably the BIGGEST tourist attraction I was near. But now that I'm up in Oregon, it would be Powell's City of Books. Something awesome about a 6 story block-squared book store to get the old blood flowing.

Oh wow...well, I live in the Glass City. So we're like the birth place of almost every major glass manufacturer of the early 20 century. We even have the first sky scraper that was built having a completely glass facade. Wow...fascinating. lol.
But seriously, that would probably have to be the Toledo Mud Hens or the Jamie Farr-Owens Corning Classic (LPGA tournament). Our Toledo Zoo is supposedly in like the top 10 or 20 worldwide. The Toledo Museum of Art is really good too.

We are known as the carousel capital. There are several parks with carousels in them. We just got a new horse race track and a casino. It's small. If you ever visit Binghamton, NY you should stop to have a spiedie sandwich and if you come at the right time you can see the Spiedie Fest and Balloon Rally.
