I think that most of the time each person knows the answer to their problems....they just don't want to admit it. Only you know your life and what is going on.
But I do think it makes us feel better when we have a sounding board who can discuss things with. Some things you may not want your family and friends to know about you so a stranger is good. And some problems family and friends can intercede for you and they are the best source of advise and help.

I don't know what some may think about this, but I don't ask for help about problems I have so easily, first I ask Allah for help, think about them deeply and do my best to solve them, then if I find it so complicated and another thinking, loving, trustworthy friend is needed, I ask a close friend for help about it, who may be a friend or relative but not an online friend, such things need direct contact, I think.

I am in introvert person, very hard to tell a problem! Man if you have a problem you can tell and I'll try to solve, i won't delay . I don't know you so i got nothing on you, don't worry I'm not that kind even. Good luck.

I'd have to say a close relative, because honestly what ever problem i would have my close relative would be thinking the same thing, and also knows how to help me, i look to her to listen to my problems, always willing to listen...

it depends on the problem.
i would discuss it with the person whom i believe would know best in the area of the problem.
i wouldnt discuss it with an online friend bec she wouldnt know a lot about my nature and circumctances .
