They WOULD blame Kerry, you know, if he was allowed to serve in that to which he was elected and the price of ketchup went up a cent. And if you are talking about the relationship between the Dictator Dumbya Big Lie Iraqi Crusade and oil, Dumbya is on RECORD saying there is such a relationship. I don't have the source in front of me, but I've found it with Google several times.

To be honest, there is always going to be a connection between whomever is in power and large corporations...especially corporations involved in scarce natural resources. I remember people complaining about the Clintons and their business connections a decade ago. It never goes away and it is largely unsubstantiated. Take for example the Caryle Group...the Bushs' are members, so it the Saudi Royal Family, so are hundreds of other people, to include George Soros, heavy Clinton campaign contributor and the sole backer of MoveOn.org. Its all crap really. People will look to anything to find negative connections involving people they don't like. Its the same crap we all watched and participated in during High School. Nothing has changed. The only difference now is, who is willing to grow up and truly MoveOn from this crap.

Wow, justgoods post sounds like the description of a Democrat or Liberal.
One would be foolish or live under a rock to deny that Bush has connections to the oil industry.

Hey, us Americans are the culprits that want cheap
gas in our gas-guzzling automobiles. Bush is only trying
to keep the supply available for his people. The environ-
mentalists won't let US drill where there is plenty of oil
in the Gulf of Mexico. They'd rather us bow down to the
mideast terrorists who threaten US with high prices or
no oil at all. What would you do about this if you were
president? I'd put Republicans in so we could drill where
we know there's plenty of oil within our reach thus not
having to rely on these conniving countries.

Why are liberal unwilling to see the Gore/Carbon credit connection?
The Clinton/Land scheme connection?
The Edwards/frivolous lawsuit connection?
The Gerry Studds/Pedophilia connection?
Politicians are in it for them selves.
How ever let me point out if it was just about oil there were so many other better ways to get to oil. Daufur has tons of untapped oil reserves. Venezuela could have been stabilized for their oil. Drilling could have occurred all over the country.
traveling half way around the world for oil in one of the most hostile places on earth is not really good business. Why are some people unwilling to accept that?

They are in denial.
There are several defining characteristics that identify the possibility that a patient may be in denial. Some examples include pretending something does not exist when in reality it does. Being willing to admit there is a problem, but unwilling to see the severity of it. Seeing the problem as being caused by something or someone else. The behavior is not denied, but its cause is someone else's responsibility. Offering excuses, alibis, justifications, and other explanations for behavior. Dealing with the problem on a general level; avoiding personal and emotional awareness of the situations or conditions. Changing the subject to avoid threatening topics. Becoming angry and irritable when reference is made to the condition. These defining characteristics help to avoid the issue at hand

Repulicans own big oil and they are making tons of $$ from it and stone walling all progress toward other energy sources so they can line their pockets. Not to mention how our sons and daughters are in the middle east fighting to keep these fat cats in the money.
