If i was a lawyer what kind of questins would i ask a witness to an automobile accident and the witness was in the automobiles as a passenger?

It would depend, is the witness yours or the opposing side? If it is yours, just ask them What were you doing on xxx date and time? Then ask them what happened next or what did you see then or what did you do then.
If the witness is not yours, ask they leading questions like, isn't it true you were not driving, isn't it true you were not paying the close of attention to how Z was driving. Then question the person on inconsistency's that they said at the accident and then later said something else. Good luck
