I have a few rich friends that truly have everything, and I struggled with this too. If there's nothing she needs or if she hasn't dropped any hints of a gift idea, then I suggest you make a donation in her honor to a charity that she would approve of. Safe bets are for the poor, hungry, animals, or children, but if you know something specific she supports during the year, like her church or a food pantry, then the gift is meaningful. Plus, in the US at least, it's tax-deductible! You both win.
A few things to look out for. Check the reputation of the charity first. Nothing's more embarrasing than to have your gift go to help stuff some lobbyist's wallet. Secondly, ask that the charity send a letter thanking her for inspiring you to give, and detailing how the money is used. Most reputable charities will do this. You can either put the letter in a card for her or have them mail it if you're not planning to see her.
A few times this has sent my friends into tears of gratitude. So don't look at it as a wuss out option!

Depends on the budget..
You could send her on holiday somewhere shes never been
A trip to a day spa
a facial
Make something
A pet =DHehe
Emm a family portrait?
Make her a photoalbum!Everyone loves those, ,
A day trip, E.g Im from northern Ireland And my nan had relatives on the titanic, So i sent her and my granda on a museum boat which told you all about the botanic and toured around the shipyard where it was built...It was easy to think of becasue I know they love muesum type things.
Or you could ask her what she wants?
Dont worry its the thought that counts
HAPPY CHRISTMAS =]

My sister sent me some pictures of my niece and nephew that I just loved. She thought they were really great pictures. My sister really likes coffee so I had one of the pics put on a really nice, large coffee mug. That would be nice. Make it a candid shot she would enjoy. You could also get candles. Everyone loves candles. Make her some bananna bread, or a cake to go with it.

A book of favors. For instance one coupon says Lunch with me. The next one could say a day at the mall. Use your imagination. She will love it because it comes from the heart not the Sears store.

You have probably enjoyed her food for years, so return the favor make her favorite dish or pie for her. This is something thoughtful that no money can buy. Make the dish several times until it's perfect before you give it to her.

Easy. Go to the bank and get one of those new "gold dollars". wrap it up in a small package and include it with an appropriate card for the holidays. Tell her you love her and say.."Everytime you touch this you will be thinking of me". She will change her will.
