Well, it appears everyone above has missed ONE basic item.
If your router was previously setup then a password was probably set!

SO reset the router to factory defaults!
From Belkins Web Site

"Reset Button: The Reset button is used in rare cases when the Router may function improperly. Resetting the Router will restore the Router’s normal operation while maintaining the programmed settings. You can also restore the factory default settings by using the Reset button. Use the restore option in instances where you may have forgotten your custom password.

Restoring the Factory Defaults: Press and hold the Reset button for at least ten seconds then release it. The lights on the Router will momentarily flash. The Power/Ready light will begin to blink. When the Power/Ready light becomes solid again, the restore is complete."

There is a small "RESET" button on the router, you have to hold it down and reset to the defaults. Probably 10-15 seconds.

GO to the Belkin support website and enter your routers details. Or Call BELKIN!

http://www.belkin.com/support/?lid=en

Then enter YOUR routers model number.
DOWNLOAD THE MANUAL. It includes full details on how to RESET the router!
In worst case you can call the tech support line.
Reseting to defaults will reset the password to the manufacturers default password (none in this case!)

There should be a password on the Router it should be in the instructions if its not try using Password or Admin What router do you have? I also have a Wireless Router and the default Password is Admin just like the username. There is a password thats why its saying incorrect try looking again or online at the manufactures website

make sure you have the userid set as either admin or administrator. Then leave the password field blank.

If that still doesn't work, try admin or adminstrator as the password as well.

Is this a new router you purchased, or did you get it used off ebay or something? If you purchased it used, there could have been a password set by the previous owner.

If this is a new router, it will have a default password, read carefully it may be as simple as typing in "admin", into the password window.

If it asks for a username and password, type in admin or administrator as the username, and leave the password blank. This works in most cases anyway. =)
The password can be changed later (and SHOULD be changed)
