Indirectly Democrats their positions restrict and ban so much that it makes it easier for people to make frivolous lawsuits. In my state, Democrat policy has made it so that a company can be sued if they produce the same type of product that has harmed someone even if they didn't make that specific product.

Typically the perception is Democrats, but both parties are huge supporters and advocates of the profession.
Republicans are about representing the interests of big business - banks, insurance companies, defense contractors - business entities that want to limit their exposure to jury verdicts when they get caught killing people or making them sick. This is why Repubs are all about Tort Reform - taking away an American's right to seek redress in a court of law.
Democrats correctly believe that the only thing that guides how industries behave is the free market AND the inherent risk of adverse monetary verdicts. Without the latter, you think the government is going to protect you from defective products? Right. If the Republicans had their way, no matter what happened to you there would be a damages cap of $250,000.
Republicans love trial lawyers for 1 reason only:
January 2001 - the election results are still being disputed in Florida, the whole thing is a complete mess.
So what do the Repubs do? Hire a trial lawyer.
Bush v. Gore eventually got to the Supreme Court, which pronounced those chilling words "Stop counting the votes."
But for trial lawyer Jim Baker, Al Gore is President.

You can't answer this question. There is nowhere to find data on something so general and confidential. Attorneys do not have to disclose their politics to try a case.

I'm sure you have an agenda with this question (not sure what it is but surely since you can intelligently phrase a question you have to know that nobody can accurately answer this).
