The fresh smell of clothes hung outside on the clothesline (especially sheets). My husband popping in to visit me at work and bringing me a little surprise (a rose he picked, or a little snack). The way our 2 cats and dog run to greet us no matter how long we're gone. Spending time with the grandchildren. Hearing my daughter say "I love you" every time I talk to her. Getting great deals at yard sales or the Goodwill store. A kind word from someone. Birds singing in the morning or crickets chirpping at night. The list goes on and on!! I'm just a person who appreciates the little, simple things in life!!

When my kids say "I love you mommy" at least once a day, Stargate and Supernatural, pie, taking a 20 minute shower without a toddler barging in, seeing deer in my backyard (I live in the suburbs), and when my husband comes home from doing construction work all day and still changes diapers, reads books, plays with the kids, cleans the kitchen, cooks, and then cuddles or makes love to me after getting 3 children to sleep.

My cats, food, my fiancee picking me up from school as I walk home, a snuggle, a cuddle, my favorite TV shows, Supernatural, reading an interesting book, planning my escape plan for when zombies attack, the smell of french fries and burgers, ice cream for lunch, looseing weight, laying down in bed after a day of work, Fridays, no homework, playing on Y!A, napping around 4 PM, getting projects done, getting a good grade, being warm, and sex. That's my life in a nut shell.

When my honey hands me my towel as I'm getting out of the shower, the way he plays with my hair, little love notes he leaves me by my coffee cup.
When my almost grown up kids say "I love You Mommy" and the hugs they give me.
When people actually smile back at me instead of looking at me like I'm crazy. Making strangers smile.
Belly Dancing with my sister, and sharing a special moment.
The sunrise
I could go on for days, I try to appreciate everything God has given me in life.

A hot cup of tea brought to me in bed, rubbing my man's back, holding hands, seeing the first crocus come-up, the snow flurries we got today, my dog's soft nose-part, cashmere socks, making the perfect bow for a gift, antique shopping with my b/f, feeding the birds, trimming my rose bushes, folding the warm dry laundry.... most of my happiness comes from the small stuff. However I do love the 2 carat pear-shaped diamond my b/f gave me last Christmas. lol!
