“Those who desire to give up freedom in order to gain security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one.”

If Mr Bush wants to declare Martial Law, there is not much we can do about it. Just hang on and see if it happens. When the Democrats elect Hillary(and they will) there will be a big backlash in the political processes as we know them.
There will be no more free stuff from the government. Also the taxes will have to go down because they don't have to pay the undesirables to stay out of the job market.

1) Terrorists aren't attacking because of our freedoms, they don't like what we've done in the Middle East and that our troops have bases in the Muslim holy land of Saudi Arabia
2) FEMA camps... that rumor has been around for almost four years now and all the camps listed are clearly NOT concentration camps, they are being decommissioned, demolished, or simply have nothing like fences or railroad tracks at all
3) there is no deal with the terrorists, Bush is not responsible for the attacks
You're not helping to change America. You're scaring people away from real facts.

Where did you or anyone else hear that the terrorist "hate our freedoms", the fact is this statement is nothing more than government propaganda to stir up the American public so as to ignore the fact we are getting into another illegal war we cannot win.
Just stop and try to figure out what circumstances make a terrorist to start with, as they aren't born that way, so somebody gave them a reason, and our freedoms have nothing to do with it.
9/11 was direct result of the United States getting involved in countries around the world and trying to tell them how to run their lives, plus or blind obedience to the wishes of Israel and sending them war implements with which to kill innocent, unarmed Palestinians.
Then ask yourself another question, where were these terrorist's in Iraq before our invasion? or did we create them?

Trout, your question sounds fishy to me?
Honestly, you people need to wake up and smell the coffee. You can hate Bush if you like, you can create all kinds of conspiracy theories if you like. The fact is it does not make a difference. Who among the new candidates for president was not involved in us going to Iraq? You need to stop being blinded by the media and politicians. Don't you see, they like it when we are divided and arguing about who is best and who is worst. They are all the same, egomaniacs who use our money and their power over the media to weasel their way into office, all on some promise to make things better. I think it is sad that so many people rely on the gov't to make them happy, have you no life of your own?
It shouldn't matter who is president. When is the last time a president came to your house and made you happy or mad? The answer is, they can't. Only you can get yourself upset or happy about your life. Relax America.

The real long term threat from terrorism is not in the acts themselves, but in the response to them by the government. It is ironic that the response to freedom hating terrorists is a reduction in freedom. We surrender! Don't see how that is a "twist of logic."

It does appear that way doesn't it.
Straight from the NWO handbook.
1st rule: Strike the hearts of the people with the fear factor.
2nd rule: Keep the people oppressed under the guise of fear.
3rd rule: Create new laws to keep the people in line.
4th rule: If they don't like it. See rules 1, 2 and 3

lol your BDS is showing.
lock people up in fema camps...
Took our freedoms...
LOL oh yeah those roving bands of "Morality police" keep banging on my door demanding I turn over enemy sympathizers too...
LOL
you know you could...I don't know... provide a case where a US citizen actually lost his rights? was imprisoned in a fema camp maybe? or was even hunted down but the vile mister Bush?
If all you can do is show how intolerant the "tolerant" left really is all I can say is thank you for making people turn away from the liberals.

Bush might be a puppet, but it's not for the terrorists that we recognize as Al Qaida or the Taliban.
**** Cheney is the puppet master, but I believe that he too has his strings pulled by more powerful people.
He is after all in the Trilateral Commission...which consists of members that are in the Bilderberg Group.

Terrorists don't give a flip about our "freedoms". That's not why they are fighting us... its about time that we know something more than wild generalizations about our enemies. Bush is an idiot that has capitalized on our fear.

Have you learned what it takes to pass a bill and make it a law yet? If so, why are you absolving 400+ members (not everyone voted for it) of congress who also voted this into law?
