Holy crap, it's getting close!

they are both very efeminate - meaning no sports, and they love (of all things) gardening. And I mean heavy duty stuff ("hey, guys! Let's go reseed the lawn, dig up all the roses and move them, then cut down some trees for firewood!")

You could get them a really nice plant. I love confederate jasmine. Not only does it smell heavenly when it blooms in the spring, but it is evergreen so it will be a beautiful deep green all year. It is a climbing plant so maybe get them a trellis as well. You could get a nice fountain for the garden. A Cheminea is nice, you can build a little fire in it to enjoy in the cooler months. That way they can sit and enjoy the nice evergreen plants in winter and be all cozy and warm.

My daughter got me one year a trunk (wicker) and it had all stainless steele,with wooden handles,yard tools in it.One of the nicest presents I've ever received.I do beleive gardening catalogs have them.I use it all the time and I am a gardener!.Now for your question;how about books or a subcription to gardening magizines? There are many different ones,I am sure they don't have them all.

I don't get them anything. I just buy for the children in the family as I believe that Christmas is for children and not for adults. Santa clause never brings presents for adults does he?

If they are into their lawn, you could get them some new flower pots, or lawn decorations.
Or something else for their home.
