when it comes to sexual orientation do you always have to be sexually attracted to their body? i don't think that guys have a hot body but i think that girls do, yet i have crushes on guys.

i'm not asking if i'm a lesbian or not, just please answer my first question?

No, it can be all mixed up. I like the tops of girls but not so much down south. As for boys, the front but NOT the back, and all the rest.

edit--I meant that I do like all the rest of boys, not into the back side is all. Makes me a pretty crappy gay man--no pun intended!

I know several people that can be like this. Where they are more physically attracted to a certain sex but emotionally attracted to the other gender more.

When I was in junior high, I was first recognizing my attraction towards men. What was weird though was that although I had sexual feelings towards men solely, I only had crushes on girls. As I grew older I started finding certain guys emotionally attractive and my plutonic emotional attractions towards women faded out.

The lines of sexual orientation are so blurred these days that it's really difficult to say what defines an attraction.

Not at all! I don't think it even has anything to do with sexual orientation. Straight or gay men/women can be sexually attracted to someone for any number of reasons beside physical looks.

Its the whole package but to me if you're really attracted to guys you would be physically attracted to at least some of them. Have you ever been in a serious thing with anyone before? Maybe you're just not sure of your feelings yet.

No, of course not. There's a young guy I know that I really like despite his buck teeth, or maybe because of them. I've seen some heterosexual couples where one or both is as homely as sin and dumb as toast, but they obviously love each other very much. Why should it be any different for lesbians and gays?

I think sexual orientation is an attraction to whole person, not just physical.
