I am trying to write a love song, and it has to be appropriate for kids. Also it has to sound like high-energy pop-punk. Thanks! Any ideas?

well i've written about 20 songs that could be classified as love songs. it takes me quite a long time so if yer on a tight schedule my strategy might not work for you. I usually take an event in my life. I have quite a bit of girl problems =( then i sit down and think of lines that mean alot to me and that i want in there and work around them. it could take me anywhere from 2 weeks to a year. hope this helps you.
