What is the best way to go about drawing anime characters?

I'm having so much trouble drawing anime characters. I've had some good drawings but most of them are bad in my opinion. LOL

Anime is so overrated, everyone is doing it and it's not interesting anymore. I'd much rather see original artwork.

But you can try google.com with search words of 'anime tutorial'. There's also at least four really good books on the style, at Barnes & Noble bookstore (check the larger book stores, they should have them in their art section).
