you have to be invited ny the conference and have to be worthy. And Terry i dont think that it is a problem if a team is good enough on a consistant basis then some conference will find them

Yeah, it could happen. But probably won't. If #1 Alabama loses to #4 Florida, then you'd think Alabama would drop down to #4 or #5. If #2 Oklahoma wins the Big 12, they should move up to #1 because of the Alabama loss. #3 Texas doesn't play so they should move up to #2 with the Alabama loss. #4 Florida should move up to #3 with the victory over Alabama. That would pit #1 Oklahoma vs #2 Texas for the BCS NC game. But, I think the Harris Poll and Coaches Poll voters will make sure they rank Florida #2 and leave Texas #3, to avoid having 2 teams from the Big 12 in the NC game. Who knows what the computer rankings will do since we aren't allowed to know how their software works. I don't know but I wouldn't be surprised if the poll voters aren't calling each other and agreeing to move Florida up to #2 should they beat Alabama.

You have to be a great program like Bosie State did last year. You have to be top notch in all your games and beat some really big teams before the sports writers/voters will even consider your school.

IF YOUR SCHOOL SCHEDULES POWER HOUSE TEAMS LIKE OKLAHOMA OR LSU, AND WIN..THEY DONT HAVE TO BE IN A BCS CONFERENCE TO MAKE IT TO THE BIG GAME.

If you are slow and overrated, you will get invited into the Big-10.

your school has to talk to one of the other conferences. they are also geographic. Not sure if hte MAC is in the BCS or not, but if its not, you should have the MAC petition the BCS to get in.
