Go ahead and buy, it's the fun part of pregnancy!
I would suggest buying one or two small outfits (like maybe the one to bring baby home in) but for the rest of the stuff, buy bigger. Lots of people are going to give you cute little teeny outfits and once the baby hits the 6 month size, you won't have anything. So buy some bigger outfits to save yourself some heartache down the road. Also, start buying diapers. I would buy a pack every 2 weeks while I was pregnant, all different sizes. Then, I always had diapers in the closet and when the baby would make that super quick change from one size to another (sometimes it's literally overnight!) and you're prepared because you probably have a pack of the next size already stashed in the closet!
Good Luck!

I started buying thing around 20 weeks when I found out the sex of the baby... I just would not go over bored. Because you do not know how big she will be or how fast she'll grow. You may not need as many newborn things as 3-6 months. But, do enjoy yourself. Oh and, I would go threw these phases where all I wanted to do was spend spend spend on my son and I already had enough clothes so I bought size 1 and 2 (even size 3) bags of diapers, bath stuff, wipes, all the stuff you run out of fast.

I wouldn't buy too much if you have family and friends that are going to buy for you or if you are going to have a baby shower. A few outfits would be fine though. You might get one or two new born outfits and one or two 0/3 month outfits. If you don't think you will be getting much from other people stick with mostly 0/3 month clothes for now. The new born stuff might only fit for the first month or so depending on how big she is. You mostly want the well fitting clothes for pictures in the hospital, this is where the new born outfits are best.

Go ahead and buy away! Get 0-3 month size clothes. Your baby is not going to be too big for them! :) Leave the tags on if you are really worried about that sort of thing. Don't get too much until after the shower though, so you can use your money for the stuff you didn't get.

Go ahead and get some things, but I would wait until after your baby shower to get what is left over from the things you register for. I am 26 weeks pregnant and already have bought a few outfits for my little guy. Just get newborn sizes in clothes...or 0-3 months. One thing that would be good to invest in is baby clothes hangers...only 97 cents for a pack of ten at Wal-Mart!

It's ok to buy thing early, you can buy things that are bigger than she will be, because trust me, babies grow fast, it won't be long before she fits into them . Keep the receipts for everything you buy, in case you have a surprise , and a boy pops out instead. I'd suggest waiting until you have the baby shower, to see what things you will get from others, and then you will know what is most important for you to purchase.

I think it would be fine. I bought things and got many gifts before all my kids were born. You can always keep the receipts if you worry they might be to small. As for to big you will be glad you have different sizes when your baby starts to grow they do this fast and a lot. Good luck!!

Yes go buy some things. I have been waiting on a lot because I am having a shower. My shower is actually tomorrow! I'm very excited. I would say buy some things, but don't over do it if you are going to have a shower.
good luck!
