I have been asked to speak at my church on behalf of the Veterans this Sunday and then do the Kickoff of the "Toys for Tots" Drive here outside Fort Bragg. After that I'll go to the VFW to do a Toast to my Brothers who aren't here but not forgotten!!! Maybe I'll slap on some leather and take the Harley for a putt!! WELCOME HOME VIETNAM VETS!!!
Hey...if I drink a couple a beers, I can piss in Hanoi Janes' face in the Mens' Room at the VFW urinals!!! She holds the piss cakes!!
To ALL the other VETERANS (all Branches) Thank you for your service to our GREAT NATION!! SEMPER FI from this Marine!!!

We will hold a flag-burning ceremony at my American Legion post, and then have a dish-to-pass dinner, where will personally thank our servicemen and servicewomen. The new Post Commander will have to be the main speaker. That's a relief - I've been Commander for seven years, and it's time someone else took over.

Always do, how about you?

EDIT: Silly me, you DID ask how didn't you? We always go up to the American Legion for a potluck luncheon and ceremony that the veterans there perform. It's always a day of pride and sadness all at the same time.

It is Armistice Night on 11th Nov. (11/11 in American),
I shall be at an amusing gathering, where I shall buy a bunch of British soldiers more drink than they ever looted from an enemy camp in their lives.

If you thumbs down this response then youre the scum of the Earth. Our nations war memorials are living beauty.
