interesting...yes i agree!
i always said that i have walls up at all times and that's why people get the wrong impression of me.....and obviously the walls would be considered secrets to them cause they dont know anything about me!

Yes I agree for the most part, but I also think some secrets are well worth having and keeping!!! I have one right now that I wouldn't give up for anything in the world...because it means everything to me...and it is a shared secret with the one that I love!!! ♥

Disagree. There isn't thing wrong with keeping things privately to yourself, and sometimes if you tell a secret, it just causes more problems. I have secrets, but I'm not alone or lonely. It depends on the person and secret.

Keeping someone's secret, to me is a sacred vow. On the other hand, ANY other secret especially in families, or between friends and lovers destroy. I agree, the truth can set you free. I rarely agree to keep someone's secret because if I do, I take it to the grave.

Yes, but, I used to be an open book, until I realized I was the only one who was open, why should I tell someone my secrets if they won't open up to me? it's like I am just talking to myself, and that feels very lonely. Better keeping to myself, than being made a fool... but it's not my fault, it takes two.

it depends, secrets cen be burdens that when placed on a friend are too much for them to bear. we have to be responsible in who we tell our secrets, jus cuase soemthin' is a secret, doesnt mean its wrogn to be a secret. an jus' cause tellign someone our secret gets it off our chest, doesnt mean that its the best thing for that persons happiness ♥
i thenk it depends on the nature of the secret.
ps: if u mean by secretive, an doesnt share ur true slef weth others, an dutn let people in, then yes, its alienating ur self, but secrets an keeping them are complicated n_n

Disagree, what if ur best friend tells u something and makes u promise not to tell, how does that make it a wall that keeps u alone?

Secrets are the reason that my last girlfriend and I broke up. She had secrets from me, I got pissed and did some things I regret and now I'm alone.
