i am 38 weeks and just wondering how you tell when your bump has dropped.
i have never felt that out of breath feeling so 'being able to breath easier wont help'
my last check the baby was 2/5 engaged (2/5s down)
my next check is on monday, so i will ask midwife then.

i guess mine must have dropped some then because the last few days i have been going to the toilet like every 1-2 hours day and night. oh and i can definatly eat more than i could.
heartburn is annoying though, starting to get a bad throat because of it.

Mine never dropped at 38 weeks. Even after 3days of induction. I had a cesarean.
You'll know when you feel like the baby is dropping out of you.

If you can't tell others will be able to. Its as if the whole bump at the front falls a few inches lower than it was. It can become quite uncomfortable and it sometimes it hurts to walk far. I hope that all goes well for you and that baby doesn't drop until the last minute. Good luck and take care.

in case you are able to not tell others will in all threat be ready to. Its as though the finished bump on the front falls a pair of inches decrease than it substitute into as quickly as. it could become extremely uncomfortable and it in many situations it hurts to stroll some distance. I wish that each and all and sundry is going sturdy for you and that teenager does not drop until eventually at last the basically real minute. sturdy sturdy fortune and take care.

Well, being able to breathe is a good sign but you will also start noticing that you get more of a pregnant walk, you waddle! Your pants will also start to fit really weird, even your maternity ones. You will also start to notice your belly is alot flatter on top than round and you will feel less pressure in your ribs and more in your pelvis. I dropped around 35 weeks, and even when it seems they can't get any lower, they DO! Believe me, you will know! Good luck and congratulations!

Very good question. I am waiting for mine to drop, and since I do feel uit of breath I hope to take that one as a sighn. Als you will feel the pressure more.downward.

You can eat more than you used to, you can breathe easier, and u need to pee every 10 seconds again!!

You'll know. Your shape changes, the feeling of you insides changes. The way you look changes. Your pants fit different, and most of all, the way you walk changes because you're walking around something.

Your bump will feel alot lower down and you may be able to feel more pressure inside. Good luck.

lol your bump has dropped when you go to rest your coffee cup on it and it drops further and you soak and roast yourself! but some bumps dont drop at all. good luck. xx
