I know what my husband would recommend in an instant--model rockets. He's been designing, building and flying them since the 1960's. It is kind of neat to build them out of cardboard tubes and plastic, paint them to look like real rockets, then launch them--the "Whoosh!" when they go up is addictive. Even smaller scale rockets can go up to 1,500 feet!
Most rocket kits cost between 10 and 20 dollars, plus there are engines that you use once each time you launch that are about $7 for a 3-pack. You'll want to start with a skill level one rocket kit (The really hard ones can be Level 3 or Level 4), or even an EX-2 kit, which is practically already assembled (but you don't get the same sense of accomplishment once you finish them). If you're interested in learning more, check out rocketryforum.com--rocket people are great, and they'll help you out with any information you want. Just beware of one called "Evil Ed," though--it's my husband, and he'll get you hooked faster than anyone else, he's so enthusuastic about it.

Seriously think about what you would like. Just tell your mother that you don't know what you want right now and say you will let her know when you think of something. Write down a list of some things you would like. Are there some things that you actually need that you would not mind receiving as a Christmas gift? I am having a hard time thinking about what I want, too. I try to think of things that I could actually use or that I need.

How can you not know what you want for Christmas? lol. Next time you go to a store or see something you like quickly write it down or tell your mom. You dont have to answer everything so fast, its still a month and a half until Christmas.

Put a piece of paper on your desktop and title it 'Christmas List'.
Make three columns.
Over $100, $25-$100, and $0-$25.00.
Over the next 2 weeks, as you think of things, jot them on the list in the appropriate column.
Be sure you have an even number of things in each column, not just the expensive stuff.
Let your mom know she will have your list in 2 weeks. This will let her take advantage of the Thanksgiving sales in plenty of time.
And then she will quit bugging you. :-)
