Why do we have to keep comparing bands to other bands?! Why can't Trivium be the first Trivium?

Only in that they both sold their music out for cash. I had high hopes for Trivium and now my Trivium shirts have been moved to the how sad section of the closet.

Listen to their other 2 records then listen to The Crusade,they're trying too hard and ditched their own sound,dont get me wrong they are bringing thrash to a new audience but I dont like how they changed so much all of a sudden,there is only one Metallica too broseph and I totally agree with Jake eventhough I gave his music a hard time

Not sure. Have they sold out their creativity for mass appeal, and then thrown that away too and just slapped any old rubbish on a CD because they know thousands will buy it anyway yet?

not a chance. they are too much of a rehash of 20-25 year old music. original is not really in their vocabulary. if you're looking for the next metallica try lamb of god or shadows fall.
