Not at all. Some doctors may try to pressure you into a c-section, but you don't have to have one. Talk to a doctor who is unbiased and willing to give you the lowdown on the pros and cons without trying to sway you one way or the other.

If you had a c-section, nowadays the option is pretty much up to u. The old saying of "once a c-section always a c-section" is outdated now. Giving birth by c-section does have the risk of more things going wrong with the next birth.

Vaginal birth after caesarean (VBAC) is safer today than a couple of years ago. Depending on what kind of c-section you had, most likely it was a lower uterine sergment section (LUSCS). The reality of that is with a LUSCS the way they made you cut for your c-section, actually made your uterus stronger (if nothing went wrong with the c-section).

Nowadays it's really up to you and your doctor to decide. If nothing went wrong with your c-section though you should be fine for VBAC.

It depends on why you had your c section. If you didnt progress or if you had problems that were exclusive to that preg only or if baby was stressed. If all is going well this time and none of those things are a consideration then you will be given an option to choose which one.

It depends upon several factors; the reason for the first C-sec, where the first scar is, and which doctor you choose. If you choose a vaginal birth, do not get induced. The risk of rupture is much higher with an induction.

really it depends on the hospital.
some places will let you do a VBAC that also depends on the scar tissues and everything from your last c-section, but i know lots of hospitals are going against vbacs for insurance reasons. they charge hospitals that allow vbacs more because they tend to be more risky. thats a question for your doctor!
Good Luck
