Well, aren't you glad you didn't make peace with someone unstable, who didn't mean his apology and was only trying to manipulate you?

Good job for calling his bluff :)

EDIT: There is no disrespect involved. His identity has been protected.

nah. I read the first post, and neglected to answer.

I'll answer here.

Since this is a person who admittedly gets their yucks being a jerk, there is no reason you would have (forget that this is the internet, of all places!) to believe their sincerity. Additionally, you would have no recourse, were the person to renig, but to block them again.

No, If you failed to make peace with a 'real' friend, a family member, a co worker, basically, a sincere person from your actual life, then maybe you would be a lousy peace-maker. Even then, only maybe, depending on the situation.

As it stands, you are eliminating frustrating discourse with someone who admits to being nothing more than an internet annoyance (troll). Don't sweat it.

You seem to have handled this one well.
Apart from the detail of airing your dirty laundry in public so to speak.
Tho their identity has been protected by u - fair doos.

There are those who will seek to have the utmost of hostility displayed as a polite word in passing na never getting involved.
There are those who you may wish were as such. If you have to wish either you or they are not of that nature, and wont be, for the matter at hand.

That and if Im not mistaken - no matter how you have drawn this question up - you have sought to wind him up. (his statement on posting emails).
I wonder which of you both enjoys the attention or giving the attention of this nature.

On that basis I would say perhaps your peace making skills could do with some work - but then I guess your well aware of what your doing and perhaps there are things Im not seeing.

edit marylin a tad blunt dont you think lol

YA is an open forum .if a person wants to discuss a YA question do it here, I consider an unsolicited e-mail as an intrusion to my privacy. And I believe you were right in the publication of the E-mail.
I agree with (Lioness and Baby girl )

I agree with ProfessorC.
But then again people handle things differently.Me personally,I would keep it between me and the person.
even if there was no resolution in the end.But that's me!

It's a long road, there will be "ups"and "downs",and so much more to learn and discover but you will get there.
keep your head up dear.

the original offer was completely out of line (trying to trick you into promising never to report a post: no matter how far it violated the tos).

and this post is just a tantrum.

this person has nothing to contribute to this forum (or anywhere).

you are better off without him.

When someone tries to manipulate you no you are not wrong- to post emails, etc. We are constantly told (by the media and everyone else) don't write soemthing in an email you don't want others to see.

That was obviously from rebirth. I'd know his style anywhere.

You're not a bad peacemaker. You're doing your best. I just don't think you're used to this forum's politics yet. Here's a tip: There are no forum politics. We all just go by our own consciences (if we have any).

A bad peacemaker but an entertaining drama queen, today at least.

Yeah feminism will do that. Don't you have homework to do or something? Where exactly is your dad anyway?
